Why I Love This Recipe

My 3 ingredient vegan tomato soup is one of my favorite soups to make. This soup is not only quick, but it’s very versatile and can be used as a base for a creamy tomato soup. Whenever I am trying to eat better, I turn to this soup and know if it full of nutrients for my body. Below I will go into detail on how you can make this soup your own with just a few additional ingredients! I’ll also recommend some Your Super products that go great with this recipe!

How Can I Make 3 Ingredient Vegan Tomato Soup My Own?

First and foremost, you can always replace the water with broth (chicken, beef or vegetable) this will increase the flavor, and provide additional nutrients. Try making your own broth if you have the time!

Second, you can add miso paste, which will provide salt and additional depth of flavor. Thinking about salt, you can blend the soup with cashews (salted or plain) to add creaminess to the soup.

Another way to make this soup your own is to add in spices. Spices like italian seasoning, pepper, cayenne or garlic will all taste great. Simply add spices, and be sure to taste as you go!

Finally, you can make this a full meal by pairing it with bread or a salad. I recommend my za’atar pizza twists, they are easy to make. The twists can be dunked in the soup for a fun way to add flavor to the soup.

I Want More Nutritional Value For This Soup What Can I Do?

Looking for nutritional value beyond the base recipe? No worries, I have some ideas! I’ve written about Your Super products before, but this time I’ll be proving some options for this soup specifically. All your super products have limited ingredients and are vegan. You can feel confident adding any of their products to your daily routine.

  • Energy Bomb – will provide a natural energy boost to get you through the day, as well as add a deeper red color
  • Golden Mellow – give your soup some spice to make it feel like fall anytime of year!
  • Super Green – just 1 serving provides a full serving of veggies – note that this will turn the color of the soup to a brown color
  • Plant Protein – 1 serving adds 9 grams of protein to this soup without impacting the flavor of the soup
  • Skinny Protein – add greens and protein (9 grams) to your soup, note that this will turn the color of the soup to a brown color

Should you choose to add any of the Your Super mixes, add in during the blending step. I also wanted to mention that you can eat this soup without straining. I find straining the soup is a better texture for me, but I’ve eaten it unstrained as well.

Yum
