How To Complete The Your Super Detox
Before doing the Your Super Detox, you should join the Your Super exclusive member group on Facebook. The group is supportive and full of guides, information, previous versions of the detox, etc.
Next, get to know the detox guidelines. Primarily, it is a detox of whole foods. Oils, salt, caffeine, and meat are the main things you will be detoxing from. A good way to think of it is, if it comes in a package or can, read the ingredients prior to eating it during the detox week.
Another thing to note is the detox is 5 days. While it is challenging, it’s OK if you struggle a bit, or completely fall off the detox during these days. It took me many, many tries before I could successfully complete the 5 days. I’ve since decided to “make my own detox” and try to make it through 3 days of detoxing, primarily focusing on not getting headaches during this time.

Top Tips For Completing The Your Super Detox
For me, detox weeks are a great time to reset not only my diet but my mindset. I love to take the time to enjoy my food during the week. No TV, no phone, just me & my food when I eat. If you don’t get to try focusing on your food during your first detox, maybe try it on the next detox you do!
There are a few tips that really help with completing the Your Super detox. Below I will share my tips.
- Pre-Detox – starting a week before your detox start date, begin weening off of salt, chocolate, and caffeine. Finding an alternative to coffee, like Teeccino, is also helpful. By starting to reduce or eliminate coffee prior to your detox, you will save yourself some headaches (literally).
- Prep – take time to prepare your snacks & meals. Review the detox, and previous detox versions too! You can mix & match meals & snacks from all the detox versions. Decide what you’d like to eat, and what you can prep ahead of time. Hummus, soups, oatmeal, etc. can all be made ahead of time. Check out my Your Super detox-friendly recipes here.
- Eat – you should not be hungry during this detox, that is not the point! If you have followed my first 2 tips above, you will definitely have an easier time with the detox. Should you get hungry, grab a piece of fruit, veggies, or a handful of nuts and see if that gets you through the hunger. I’d also recommend getting plenty of water. Water will not only help reduce headaches but will help you feel fuller longer.
