Why I Love This Non-Alcoholic Gin Mocktail

To start, this gin mocktail tastes and looks like the real deal! This is my take on a shrub cocktail - something I recently learned I like. With adding a maple ice cube, you cannot go wrong with this mocktail!

Secondly, this non-alcoholic gin mocktail uses a flavorful homemade gin that I couldn't tell the difference between it and regular gin! This gin mocktail is refreshing after a long day of drinking water and doesn't make me "miss" my regular gin cocktail.

Wondering what other mocktails you could make instead? Keep reading to learn!

Various fruits are ready to dry for garnishes. Oranges, grapefruit, kiwi and blood orange.

Alternative Gin Mocktails

I love gin. I love the spice of a peppercorn along with juniper - drinking it takes me to the mountains.

Keep in mind that the gin I made isn't clear like store-bought gin. My gin is more of a gin "tea", but don't let that stop you from using it as you would regular gin. I have some great mocktails on my blog already, but here are some other ideas you may want to try using this non-alcoholic gin.

French 75 Inspired Mocktail

  • 3/4 oz lemon juice

  • 3/4 oz simple syrup

  • 1.5 oz non-alcoholic gin

  • 2 oz sparkling water

Shake the first 3 ingredients together with ice, then strain into a glass and top with champagne.

Gin Smash Inspired Mocktail

  • 5 Strawberries, Blueberries, or Raspberries

  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice

  • 1 Teaspoon Honey or Maple Syrup

  • 4 Mint Leaves

  • 2 oz non-alcoholic gin

  • 2 oz ginger beer

Lightly muddle berries, juice, honey, and mint. Add non-alcoholic gin and ice. Top with ginger beer.

These bonus recipes included above may not look like a traditional cocktail due to the color, but I promise it will taste great! What's your favorite mocktail? Start a conversation on Instagram!
