Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Raw Honey
  • 1 Cup Garlic Cloves Peeled and smashed
  • Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar Optional but recommended to help with PH levels

Instructions
 

Make The Honey Garlic

  • Place your smashed garlic into a jar and top with honey. Add apple cider vinegar if using.
    1 Cup Raw Honey, 1 Cup Garlic Cloves, 2½ Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar

Daily Shake – Fermentation Lid – 7 Days

  • If using a fermentation lid, you will need to gently shake your jar in order to ensure all the garlic is covered in honey.

Daily Turn and Burp – No Fermentation Lid – 7 Days

  • If not using a fermentation lid, you will need to flip your jar upside down daily. This ensures the garlic gets coated. Be sure your lid is tight before flipping. Also, if not using a fermentation lid, you will need to burp your jar by opening it daily to release the gasses.

  • The longer you allow this to ferment, the more flavor you will have. I’ve read that some people wait an entire year.
  • When ready to use, this will be more liquid than when you started. Honey garlic is great for dressings, sweet and sour chicken, or over buttered toast.
  • Apple cider vinegar can be used to improve PH levels and ensure food safety.
